20 Inspirational Quotes to Start off 2025

Each year since 2017, I have started the year by sharing quotes that either inspired me last year or, hopefully, propelled me into the current year. Some are quotes from books I have read, some from books I published, and this year, some that I asked for from ChatGPT.

At the end of last year, I looked at some of the quotes I shared at the beginning of the year and made mini-podcasts on the quote and why it mattered to me. If I ever feel I am lacking inspiration, it is easy enough to come back here and find something to spark an idea or story. Feel free to do the same with any of these quotes on your social media. Ask yourself why this quote resonates with me and go deeper into how it connects with you.

Sometimes, we need a spark to light a fire, and I hope these quotes can do that for you.

And if the quotes from this year don’t connect with you, please check out the lists from the prior years.

This year, I am going to start off with a quote of mine from the book, “What Makes A Great Principal,” which is going to be something I continue to focus on for the year.

The only way we move forward is through movement.

Here are the rest of the quotes for the year; the last one is based on an annual tradition.

getting started.”

And since I end every one of these posts with a quote from Michael Scott, here you go 🙂
