I watched this inspiring Ted Talk last night and it shows the power of video for changing and improving our world. It reminded me of how speaking about Identity Day sparked a movement in other schools, and how it is important that we share these practices with the world. Impacting others would not have happened as widespread if I did not choose to share what my school did that day.
This is not about technology. This is about learning. Technology is only the medium.
Speaking with Dean Shareski on Skype, he discussed with me how he believes that sharing what we do is not only something that is beneficial to education, but should be an obligation of educators. This video only pushes that argument further.
