Connections
A student came up to me today and told me that she was leaving next week to go to a new school. She is a fantastic kid and we are going to miss her tremendously but this is part of life.
With her eyes begin to well up, I looked at her and told her, “You can always come back and visit.”
She looked at me with a smile and said, “I can always go on the blog.” I was speechless (and my eyes started to well up).
It is nice to know that we have the ability that our kids can always stay connected with their friends and teachers and still learn along with us, long after they leave.
I am proud that my teachers provide this opportunity for our kids. I hope that you do too.
