I was going to write a response to some of the comments in the National Post article on awards today based on my “Impact of Awards” blog post.

Then I saw this post that my grade 4 students wrote to me, with some AWESOME comments!

Yah it was awesome when you came in and read us The Report Card. You were really funny and had lots of expressions. I think the funniest was when you took my glasses and acted weird. I hope you can come back and read the rest of the story to us. P.S. it was awsome bye see yah later… :) 🙁 ;) :P :D :P your the best principal ever. Bye.

This is why I do what I do and do my best to stick up for ALL of our students.  Kids do way more for me than I could ever do for them, and the post above is more proof.
