The Process of Online Collaboration (Video)

Two of the best tools I have used in the past year are Google Docs and Twitter.  I have learned how to effectively “crowd source” information through the use of these tools.  Currently, I am working with a group through the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium on how to use Social Media to Transform Teaching Practice.  They have asked some questions and placed them on this Google Document.  At first, Alec and I were going to answer the questions, but we thought it would be more appropriate to show an authentic example of social media can be effectively used to build understanding.
