I have the honour of speaking at both the Reform Symposium on Saturday (5:30 EST, January 8) as well as the ECN Webstitute on Sunday (6:45, January 9). These are both FREE conferences and have several presentations on many different topics (you have got to love Personal Learning Networks).
For the Reform Symposium, I will be working with a panel to discuss the importance of getting parents engaged in the learning process within our schools and how we can effectively do this. For the ECN (English Companion Ning) Webstitute, I will be focusing on the importance of building relationships in schools and how we can enhance through the use of social media.
I am really looking forward to connecting with several educators this weekend and developing my own learning.
