Kids can learn whatever we are willing to teach them…

Too often we hear that our students aren’t able to do certain things because they are “just kids”.

I have heard many educators say that kids are too young or unable to use technology, and the effort wasted “logging in” is a giant waste of valuable classroom time.  While I know that there is effort that must be put into teaching the tool first, if a 2 year old can use an iPad, we can get our students to that next level.

The video below really (graphically) got this point across to me.  Whether good or bad, our kids are sponges and are ready to learn whatever we show them.  Hopefully we are setting the right direction and putting the right tools in their hands.
